gm. D±bie, pow. kolski, woj. wielkopolskie Baranowiec was a gentry village (owned by Rupret Dunin), colonized by the Dutch settlers ca. 1790. Baranowiec is a small linear village located to the northwest of D±bie and to the north of the D±bie - Łęczyca road. The settlement was established on a natural rise that descends northward and southward towards the drainage canals. The homesteads are situated on both sides of a road that runs latitudinally through the village. The cultural landscape characteristic of the Dutch colonization is in good condition. The traditional field layout, homestead location, and drainage canals collecting the ground water excess are preserved.
