gm. Dąbie, pow. kolski, woj. wielkopolskie The village was a part of a church estate (owned by Gniezno archbishopric) and was settled by the Dutch colonists in 1782. In 1881, it had 6 houses, 36 residents, and 58 morgas of farmland. The colonists settled on the north. Leśniczówka Dąbie is a linear village located to the north of Dąbie and to the west of the Dąbie - Kłodawa road. The northern section of the village is adjacent to a forest. Homesteads stretch on the southern side of the paved village road located on a natural rise. The cultural landscape characteristic of the Dutch colonization has been transformed. No material evidence of the colonists residence is present. SGKP, t.II, 1881, s. 16. |
