The village was established in 1632 and was situated within the Elbląg estate. The 18th century sources mentioned one Mennonite - Philippsen. In 1820, the village had 99 residents, including 6 Mennonites. In 1868, the village had 3042 morgas, 16 houses, 143 residents, including 15 Mennonites. After 1945, the authorities built a housing complex for state farm employees. Village layout - colonial village on terpy located on the northern side of the road from Jegłonik to the Nogat crossing. Until 1945, there were ca. 5 homesteads that still existed in 1980s. Two masonry houses from the beginning of the 20th century have survived to the present day. The cultural landscape of the village includes single terpy, draining canals, field layout, fragments of coble stone road, and an ash tree alley.
