![]() In 1332, lands of Myszewo and Myszewko were granted to Jan .... by the city council of Stare Miasto in Elbląg. The Feast of the Cross parish church was founded in the 14th century. Dutch settlers arrived probably in the mid 17th century. The sources from 1776 mentioned the following Mennonite names: Andeas, Fast, Hamm, and Wiens. In 1820, the village had 414 residents, including 27 Mennonites. Village layout - linear and square village in a north - south line with 4 large farms in the eastern section of the village. The cultural landscape has been heavily modified. A large number of the buildings in the western section have been demolished. In the other sections, historical buildings are being replaced. The examples of historical architecture include primarily brick houses from the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries, several wooden houses from the 19th century, and several Dutch homesteads (outbuildings demolished) in colonies.
