The sources from 1398 mentioned a Teutonic Knights' estate, a stud, and a leprosarium located in the area. In 1454, 13 włókas of land were sectioned off from the estate for 5 Dutch settlers. In 1457, the area was incorporated into the Elbląg estate. The petition from 1868 from Nowy Dwór was signed by Franz Cornelsen and Janzen. Until 1945, the village had ca. 8 farms.

Village layout - a linear hamlet with 3 large farms on the western side of a highway and 4 smaller farms on its eastern side.

The cultural landscape has partially survived with two layouts of old homesteads in the western section of the village without historical buildings. Two old buildings have survived in the eastern section.

The building of an old inn is situated on the eastern side of the Elbląg - Malbork road, facing it with its ridge. It was erected in 1795 by the carpenter Jacob Glandt for Heinrich Fechter. The building has a log structure with dovetail halvings at corners (covered by boards imitating Tuscan pilaster), boarded gables, a rafter - two-collar beam roof structure, a pent-roofed attic room in the western roof slope, and a ceramic roof. The southern elevation has 3 axes and a two-level gable with 2 axes at the bottom and 1 axis above. The western elevation has 6 axes and en entrance located in the 3rd axis from the north.
