The village was founded in 1629 by colonists. In 1885, the village had 302 ha, 109 residents, and 6 houses. Village layout - a one-sided linear village (linear hamlet) along the Repnowy - Szymankowo road with three homesteads on the eastern side. The cultural landscape has survived in fragments with a detectable spatial layout, road and homestead vegetation, and remains of historical buildings.
