The present day village consists of 3 settlements: Hakendorf, Robach, and Michałowo. The village of Wierciny was established in 1332 and Michałowo, in 1384. In the 16th century, the area was included in the Dutch colonization. In addition to farmers, the village was also inhabited by ferrymen operating the Nogat river crossing. Until the 19th century, the northern section of the village belonged to the Lutheran parish in Kępki (Mennonites were members of the Ellerwald community), while the southwestern section to the Myszew parish (Mennonites were members of the Różewo community). The sources from 1776 mentioned 7 Mennonite houses belonging to the families Claasen, Dick, Hans, Siemens, Willem, Wittenberg, and Wall, among others. In 1820, the village of Hakendorf had 79 residents, including 3 Mennonites; Robach had 36 residents, including 11 Mennonites.

The cultural landscape includes primarily the colonial buildings from the 1930s - small wooden or brick houses, 2 larger houses, and 4 family houses. According to Lipińska, in 1986, 25 historical buildings were still present in 40 homesteads, including 3 Dutch homesteads with ca. 10 wooden houses. The village has a Catholic church from 1924, an old Baptist (or Mennonite) church, and 2 cemeteries.

No. 10 is an angular Dutch homestead situated in the southern section of the village, facing a road with the ridge. A cowshed is slightly higher than a house; a barn has been demolished. The house dates from the 4th quarter of the 19th century and has a single storey, a bricked wooden structure, asbestos tile roofing, and a vertically boarded gable. The gable elevation has 2 axes and a single-axial gable. The northern elevation has 2 axes with an entrance in the northern axis.
No. 21 is a Dutch homestead situated in the northern section of the village, facing a road with its ridge. A house and a cowshed have a common roof; a barn has been demolished. The house dates from the 4th quarter of the 19th century and has a bricked underpinning, a wooden structure, tile roofing, a vertically boarded gable and attic room (eastern slope), and a double-pitched roof. The gable elevation has 2 axes and a single-axial gable. The northern elevation is covered by panels.
