The earliest mention concerning the village dates back to circa 1640, when the Dutch settled here. Before the partition, the village formed part of the Świecie poviat as a gentry property.
During the partition the settlement entered into the Świecie poviat of the Kwidzyń District, belonging to the Świecie nad Wisłą Catholic parish and the Górna Grupa Evangelic parish. In the 19th century the village possessed 17 morgas, 50 buildings, 34 houses, 226 inhabitants (3 Catholics, 212 Evangelists)

A linear village, the so-called riverfront village (rzędówka bagienna) situated 8km from the left bank of the Vistula, in the north-eastern part of the Świecie poviat. The main road runs along the east - south-west line.



No. 5 - house built c.a. mid-19th century (?), with its ridge facing a road running through the village; located in its western part, housing the farm and residential section lined-up under one roof.
The building is on the plan of a rectangle, double-bay with a passage hallway. Kitchen in the eastern part. Entrance doors in the eastern and western elevations. Single-floor, with a cellar under part of it. Covered with a double-pitched roof. The loft is usable. The northern elevation is single-axial, unsymmetrical. The southern elevation is bi-axial, unsymmetrical. The eastern elevation is four-axial, unsymmetrical with a porch. The western elevation is tri-axial, unsymmetrical.
The house rests on a brick and stone plinth, is made of wood and has a corner-notched structure; in the northern part it is made of brick. Brick, bottle-shaped chimney. Wooden floors. Beam ceilings. Collar beam roof truss with king posts. Roof covered with metal sheeting. The porch has a timber-frame structure. Wooden, double-cased windows in window-frames. Wooden, single-leaf doors having frame and panel structure. Simple wooden straight-flight staircase.

No. 6 - house built in the third quarter of the 19th century (?), with its gable facing road running along the village; situated in its western part, housing the farm and residential section lined-up under one roof.
Building is not accessible. Entrance doors in the northern and eastern elevations. Single-floor. Covered with a double-pitched roof. The northern elevation is tri-axial, unsymmetrical. The southern elevation is bi-axial, unsymmetrical. The eastern elevation is bi-axial, unsymmetrical with an annex. The western elevation connected with farm section.
The house rests on a brick and stone plinth, is made of wood and has a corner-notched structure. Plastered. The gables are planked. Collar beam roof truss. Roof covered with roofing paper. Wooden, double-cased windows in window-frames. Wooden, single-leaf doors having frame and panel structure.

No. 11 - house built c.a. mid-19th century (?), with its ridge facing road running through the village in the direction of the forest; located in its western part, housing the farm and residential section lined-up under one roof. The building was transferred from Mazowsze region. On corners assembly marks are vissible.
The building is on the plan of a rectangle, double-bay with a hallway in southern bay. Kitchen in the northern part. In the middle axis a \'black kitchen\' has survived. Entrance door in the southern elevation. Single-floor, without cellar. Covered with a double-pitched roof. The loft is usable. The northern and southern elevations are tri-axial, unsymmetrical. The eastern elevation is bi-axial, symmetrical. The western elevation is single-axial.
The house rests on a brick and stone plinth, is made of wood and has a corner-notched structure; side walls have log-post structure. Brick, bottle-shaped chimney. Wooden floors. Beam ceilings. The gables are planked. Collar beam roof truss. The roof is covered with asbestos cement. One-frame, plastic windows. Wooden, single-leaf doors having frame and panel structure. Simple wooden straight-flight staircase.
