Former Church-owned village (Kraków Charter) situated in the former Łask poviat, Wymysłów commune, Dobroń parish. In 1827 it counted 62 houses and 481 inhabitants. The Hollanders were settled there in 1784.

Large village situated on both sides of the Łódź-Sieradz road. The northern part, stretching from the north-west to the south-east, has a linear character, with the majority of homesteads located on the northern side of the road. The southern part – strongly transformed – has a multi-street layout and suburban character, dominated by villas.

Traditional landscape related to the Dutch colonisation transformed. Colonists’ cemetery preserved.

Former Evangelical cemetery is situated along a dirt road leading southwards off the main road cutting through the village, near a school football field. Around 20 gravestones were preserved on the territory of the necropolis, as well as a large, metal cross. Several gravestones have German inscriptions. On the cemetery there are also graves dating from the World War I (Russian soldiers) and World War II (Polish soldiers from the September campaign).
