Maps

The catalogue is completed with maps of poviats elaborated in order to show all the Sieradzka and Wielunska Lands' villages settled by the colonists. Detailed map were drawn after field tours and verification of the settlements location with regard to the ordnance maps. Marking of non-existing villages and those that changed their names presented an important difficulty. The more so, that on historical maps elaborated in different periods part of villages were displaced as a result of inaccuracy. However, the efforts were made to situate villages the most accurately possible.
