gm. Ozorków, pow. zgierski, woj. łódzkie

Borszyn was a gentry village (owned by Kajetan Dąbrowski) colonized by the Dutch settlers ca. 1790. In 1827, the village had 11 houses and 110 residents; in 1880, 17 houses and 612 morga of land (including the manor's land).

Borszyn is a linear village located to the west of Ozorków with homesteads situated on both sides of the village road with a near-latitudinal layout.

Elements of the cultural landscape characteristic of the Dutch colonization are detectable. Majority of homes are situated on low, probably artificial rises. Fields stretch behind the buildings slightly descending away from the road. Scarce poplar and willow trees extracting water excess from the soil have survived.
