Holendry Dobrowskie was a gentry village (owned by Maciej Jaksa Krobanowski) founded by the Dutch colonists in 1790. At that time, it had 9 houses. In 1882, the village had 5 houses, 22 residents and 68 morga of land suitable for rye.

Holendry Dobrowskie is a linear village located to the west of the Żychlin - Gąbin road on the Przysowa river (on its southern bank), along an east-west line with homesteads on the southern (western section) and northern (eastern section) sides of the road. The village spreads on a rise, with cultivated fields and pastures located below the line of buildings.

The cultural landscape related to the Dutch colonization is in good condition with detectable field layout, willows planted on the balks, drainage canals and ponds collecting the excess water, and poplar and willow trees planted among the homesteads. The buildings are modern; no historical objects associated with the colonists are present.
